The invention relates to a microdosing syringe (1) with a substantially tubular syringe body (2) accommodating a mobile piston rod (3). An ampoule holder (5), mounted on the end of the syringe body (2), accommodates an ampoule (8) containing the injection preparation. The ampoule holder (5) has a support (10) for an injection needle (11). A driving mechanism (12), mounted next to the ampoule holder (5) on the syringe body (2), acts on the piston rod (3).
