<p>The invention concerns a baking dish (1) for a microwave oven comprising in its flat part at least two levels of thickness (2, 3), i.e. a thickness (2) made from a non-heat producing material whereof the outer surface (2a) is designed to be in contact with the food to be cooked, and a layer or thickness (3) forming a peripheral edge made of substantially non-heat conducting elastomer. The invention is characterised in that said dish (1) has at least in its flat part (1a) a monolithic flexible composite structure, comprising an outer layer (3) made of substantially non-heat conducting elastomer, an inner layer (2) made of substantially heat conducting elastomer, and a heat-producing material (4) provided and flatly spread in said monolithic composite structure, the inner and outer layers being directly or indirectly connected with each other, particularly by their respective peripheral edges (3c, 2c).</p> |
