Suction holes around the bottom of the trocar linked to a vacuum source by integral channels enable parts of the body to be fixed to the trocar. Suction holes are provided around the bottom edge (5) of the trocar wall (2). Channels extend the length of the wall between these openings and a connection (13) for a vacuum source.
