PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high-quality image without using a prewetted liquid, and to efficiently reuse a liquid developer. SOLUTION: An image forming sheet 6 is conveyed at the same speed as a line-speed of a photoreceptor 1, and simultaneously an electrostatic latent image is formed on the surface of the photoreceptor 1. A toner image is formed on the surface of the picture-forming sheet 6 from the electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor 1 by a liquid developer of a developing means 4. The toner image, formed on the surface of the image forming sheet 6, is transcribed on a transcribing paper 13 by a transcribing means 7, and is fixed and discharged. The liquid developer, remained on the image forming sheet 6, is removed and recovered by a liquid-developer recovering means 8, and then is reused. The recovered liquid developer does not contain impurities, so it is sent to the developing means 4 and reused as it is. |
