The lampshade consists of a truncated conical support (1) with a metal frame (3), designed to be fitted to a lamp base or similar and a removable trim element (2) which fits over the outside of the support. The trim element is itself self-supporting, and comprises an inner member (15) of a self-supporting synthetic material between 0.25 and 0.40 mm thick which is at least translucent and has an outer cover (11) stuck to it.
