PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and easily fix a pair of magnetic cores to a board by providing a rectangular notch through which legs of the pair of magnetic cores pass at an edge of the board and by fitting a fixing part in the form of a hair pin from the notch side. SOLUTION: A rectangular notch 1a to which one side leg of an E-shaped magnetic core 5a is fitted is formed at an edge of a mounting board 1. Two openings 1b and 1c are also formed in the board 1. A primary pattern coil 2a and a secondary pattern coil 2b are formed around the opening 1b on the top side and on the reverse side of the board 1 respectively. The three legs of the E-shaped magnetic core 5a are fitted to the rectangular notch 1a and the openings 1b and 1c to assemble the E-shaped magnetic core 5a and an I-shaped magnetic core 5b. The assembled E and I-shaped magnetic cores 5a and 5b are fixed to the board 1 by a fixing part 7 in the form of a hairpin which is fitted from the side of the notch 1a to form a transformer.
