PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it unnecessary to especially carry self-protection equipment or the like, and to issue alarm by the operation of a push button switch provided at a generally popular portable telephone set or the like by issuing alarm from a speaker driving part in response to the operation of a switch which can be arbitrarily by an operator. SOLUTION: An off-hook button and an on-hook button among push buttons are used as an alarm switch, and when both the buttons are simultaneously pushed, a movable contact 9a of a switch 9 is brought into contact with a fixed contact 9b, the switch is turned on, and an operation signal is outputted from an operation signal processing part 10 to a control part 13. Then, when a push button for emergency is simultaneously pushed by a finger tip, the control part 13 drives a voice synthesizing and analyzing circuit, and drives a speaker driving part 11. Then, the volume is maxmized, and the alarm signal of the voice synthesizing and analyzing circuit is directly transmitted to a speaker 12 side. Therefore, the speaker 12 can ring, and the alarm is generated in the maximum volume. Afterwards, the control part 13 continues to generate the alarm until the power switch is turned off.
