Actuator, esp. for steering column lever in motor vehicles, for performing switching functions

The actuator has a lever (1), whose first end (2) is mounted in a bore (5) and has a bearing point (7) in an end region of the bore. A combined pull- and pressure-sensor (8) in the bore's end region between one lever end and a stop detects the axial forces (F1) on the second lever end (3). A cam (4) in the bore at a distance from the bearing point forms an intermediate part of the lever. Several pressure sensors (9-12) arranged in a ring around the bore detect forces acting radially on the second lever end. An evaluation unit converts switching instructions depending on sensor measurement values.
