Frequency synchronisation method for oscillator

The method involves synchronising the frequency of an oscillator on a measured, periodical system value. A complex Fourier coefficient is determined for each basic oscillation period of a Fourier series of the system value for its basic oscillation frequency. A phase value of the complex Fourier coefficient is calculated, and a phase difference value is determined from two timewise consecutive phase values. A correction pulse period,which is added to a nominal pulse period, is determined from the phase difference value, in such way that the phase difference value becomes zero.
