A retroreflective sheeting (10) is provided for use on traffic barricades (20) to provide a traffic control device. The retroreflective sheeting has a longitudinally extending retroreflective portion and a series of spaced pleats that each extend generally perpendicularly to the longitudinally extending portion. The pleats provide greatly increased visibility by returning light that strikes the sheeting at very high entrance angles relative to the longitudinally extending retroreflective portion. |
