The invention concerns an inorganic polymer based on aluminium and silicon. The polymer according to the invention has the formula AlxSiyOz, where x:y is between 1 and 3 and z is between 1 and 10, and it has a structure consisting of spindles with a length of between 10 and 100 mu m and a width between 2 and 20 mu m.
