PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system electrically operating a manual operation knob by attaching an electrically curving operation unit to an operation knob for the manual operation of an endoscope. SOLUTION: This endoscope system 1 is provided with the endoscope 4 with a thin and long insertion part 2 and an operating part 3 provided on the base tip side of the part 2 and used as a grasping part in common, and the electrically curving operation unit 5 which is freely attachable and detachable to the operation part 3 of this endoscope 4 and provided with an operating stick 5a to be the curving direction indicating means of a knob operation means indicating a curving operating direction to the base tip surface of a unit main body being a housing. The unit 5 is attached to the operation knob 9 of the operation part 3 of the endoscope 4 and the stick 5a of the unit 5 is incline- operated with a finger in the state of being attached to the part 3 to curve a curving part 7 to orient a tip part 6 arranging an observing optical system, etc., in a desired direction. |
