PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an active compound combination capable of protecting a susceptible active compound by a method to provide reproducibility of biological/pharmacological action, by forming a porous implant material by combining an active compound with an oligomer ester of polyhydric alcohol and α-hydroxy acid as an excipient. SOLUTION: This porous implant material is composed by combining an oligomer ester, of polyhydric alcohol and α-hydroxy acid, as an excipient and an active material such as osseous cement, etc. The average degree of polymerization of the oligomer is to be not higher than about 30, preferably than about 10. The active compound is formed of a cytostatic agent, for instance methotrexate and antibiotic, such as gentamicin, and an infection preventive and a growth promoter. In a case of an implant for a hip joint, etc., a suspended matter can be directly pressed directly against the surface of a metal by weighing equipment. It can be also done in a soaking process, etc. |
