PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently removing foreign materials eliminated from a layer mixture liquid in a supplying chamber. SOLUTION: This method for removing foreign materials from a laver is provided by flowing a laver mixture liquid in a supplying chamber 7 through gaps for eliminating the foreign materials to leave the foreign materials in the supplying chamber 7, supplying water into the supplying chamber 7 to make the concentration of the foreign material thin in the case that the amount of foreign material becomes high, discharging the laver mixture liquid containing the foreign materials in the supplying chamber 7 by actuating a foreign material discharging pump 13 after making the amount of the laver mixture in the supplying chamber small, and then charging a fresh laver mixture liquid into the supplying chamber for restarting the work. It is possible to be able to discharge the laver mixture containing the foreign materials in a short period of time, and make a stopping time of the device short and the amount of raw layer in the discharged laver mixture liquid small. |
