<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the work of assorting cargos by destinations at a collection and distribution terminal, thereby reducing the labor and time. SOLUTION: The terminal device 11 for cargo collection and distribution, is made up of a bar code reader 3 for reading the slip number of slips 27 stuck on loads 23, arrival code preparing means 5, 13, 17 for preparing the arrival code of the loads 23, a memory part 15 for storing the obtained slip number and arrival codes, and an arrival code label publishing means 19 for publishing the arrival code labels 27 on which the arrival code is displayed. Thus, the arrival code labels 27 are stuck on the cargos 23 at the time of load collection and distribution. At the collection and distribution terminal, the assorting operations can be started immediately after the loads arrive at the terminal.</p> |
