PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the reloading without dismounting a memory means by reloading a control program stored in the memory means, performing the processing for abnormality when the reloading is abnormal, and computing the controlled variable on the basis of the operating condition of a vehicle according to a normally reloaded control program, to output the same. SOLUTION: PROM 11 is brought into an eliminatable/writable condition by a reloading signal 2a from a reloading device 2, and a reloading program of a mask ROM 12 is switched by a switching circuit 15. When the reloading device 2 transmits an elimination command, an engine controller 1 executes the eliminating process, and the writing process is executed by receiving the writing command and the writing data. Then the reloading device 2 transmits the check sum transmission command, and the engine controller 1 calculates the check sum, and returns the result thereof. The reloading device 2 collates the same with a stored check sum design value, and the reloading is completed when they are agreed with each other. In a case of disagreement, the eliminating command is transmitted again, and the disagreement is displayed on the reloading device 2. |
