The invention relates to a reading lamp having a luminaire body, a cable set, a mains plug and a switch. An illuminated field that is sufficient for reading but does not disturb other persons in the room is obtained in accordance with the invention by constructing the luminaire body as a reading strip in which a number of light-emitting diodes are embedded in a row with at least partially exposed luminous elements. |
