PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance torque strength, improve assembling workability and reduce cost by providing a plate with a boss hole having uniform parts and nonuniform parts in the opening radius, providing a boss with a fastening part so as to be fitted to the boss hole, providing the uniform parts of the boss hole with recessed parts, and providing caulked parts in positions opposed to the recessed parts on the fastening part outer diameter side. SOLUTION: A boss 11 is a cylindrical member machined out of a steel bar. A fastening part 12 is formed, and cylindrical side faces narrower than the outer diameter of the boss 11 are formed at the lateral side faces of the fastening part 12, and an upper plane 15 and a lower plane 16 are formed parallel with each other. A plate 2 is formed by press working. The fastening part 12 of the boss 11 is inserted in a shape adjusted state in a boss hole 3, having linear parts 4, 5, of the plate 2, and an outer diameter side nearly half thickness part of the fastening part 12 is caulked by press working. Caulked parts 17 partially bite into recessed parts 8, 9 of circular arc shaped parts 6, 7 of the boss hole 3 so as to integrate the boss 11 and the plate 2. Rotational torque strength between the boss 11 and plate 2 is improved, thermal distortion is not generated because of no blazing, and the plate with the boss can be manufactured at a low cost. |
