PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyethylene-coated working steel material by bending of polyethylene-coated steel material and a method for manufacturing an outer surface polyethylene-coated bend steel tube thereof. SOLUTION: (1) A polyethylene-coated steel material containing an adhesive resin layer and polyethylene corrosion resistant resin layer in a coating layer is bent at 50 to 80 deg.C. (2) A polyethylene-coated steel material containing ethylene-methacrylate copolymer and polyethylene corrosion resistant layer in a coating layer is bent at 0 to 80 deg.C. (3) The polyethylene-coated steel material in the (1) or (2) is the outer surface polyethylene-coated straight steel tube, and the polyethylene-coated working steel material is the outer surface polyethylene-coated bend steel tube.
