SOLID COLOR COATING MATERIAL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a solid color coating film excellent in acid resin resistance and ensure the dispersion stability of a pigment. SOLUTION: This solid color coating material composition contains an acid group- and hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin containing carboxyl groups and hydroxyl groups in the molecule, an epoxy group- and hydroxyl group- containing acrylic resin containing epoxy groups and hydroxyl groups in the molecule, a blocked isocyanate as a cross-linking resin, a color pigment and a resin for dispersing the pigment composed of a system using a polyester resin and a melamine resin in combination at (90:10) to (60:40) solid content weight ratio of the polyester resin to the melamine resin. The acid rain resistance of a coating film is improved by using the acid/epoxy/blocked isocyanate curing type resin as a principal agent. The dispersion stability of the pigment can be ensured by using the polyester resin and the melamine resin in combination in the prescribed proportion as the resin for dispersing the pigment.
