PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation device for portable electronic equipment which can detach the electronic equipment safely after its processing is completed when the portable electronic equipment is detached from the installation device while the portable electronic equipment set on the installation device is used. SOLUTION: This device has engagement parts 41 and 42 which engage with the portable electronic equipment 700 and is equipped with an operation means 33 for holding the positioned portable electronic equipment 700 by using the engagement parts 41 and 42, an actuator 50 which maintains the state wherein the operation means 33 holds the portable electronic equipment 700 by using the engagement parts 41 and 42, and a resetting means 440 which resets the holding state of the portable electronic equipment 700 by the actuator with a command from the portable electronic equipment 700 which indicates the processing accompanying the detachment of the electronic equipment 700 is completed.
