PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid deteriorating the photoelectric conversion characteristic of a solar cell capable of holding a high reliability even in the outside use for a long time, by suppressing to sulfurize an Ag layer which forms a back electrode layer. SOLUTION: The solar cell comprises a transparent electrode layer 2, Si-based semiconductor layer 3 and back electrode layer 4 formed on a transparent base 1. The electrode layer 4 has a layer contg. Ag as a main component and Pd so that the Pd content at a portion near the base 1 is lower than that at a portion remote from the base 1 in this layer. |
