The hydraulic tilting device has a first valve device (32) in the form of a four-path two-position valve, held in the closed position by a spring (52). The main pressure control device (33) is augmented by two further pressure control devices (25,26) for opening and a third further one (35) for closing. The first of these extra devices (25) is connected to the sector (23) of the first hydraulic fluid line (20) between the first valve device and the control valve (50). The second extra device (26) is connected to a sector of the same line between the first valve device and the cylinder cavity (14) on the piston side. The third extra device (35) is connected to the second branch (19) of the connecting line (18, 19) to the piston-rod-side cylinder cavity (13).
