A liquid container for use in a commercial promotion has a banknote or voucher hidden in an annular space (10) defined between a cap portion (2) which closes the container opening and a surrounding collar (9). The collar (9) is rotatable with the cap portion (2) so that twisting the collar (9) turns the cap portion (2) to separate the cap portion (2) from a ring portion (3) along a line of weakening (4). This separation is tamper-evident and enables access to be gained to the banknote or voucher and also opens the container. Winning containers with banknotes or vouchers are visually indistinguishable from non-winning containers which contain no banknotes or vouchers.
