The pump control piston (17) has an extension (3) connected to the over pressure valve bore (33) which is fluid connected to a cross bore by a connecting duct (13). The duct is closed in first and second positions of the piston but opened in a third position. The control piston and the extension (39) are positioned in an arrangement with the first and second cross bores (35) so that , in the third position of the piston, the first cross bore is closed by the piston and the second cross bore is opened by the extension.
