PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dielectric breakdown between the control electrodes of an aperture electrode for recording an image on an image recording medium through a charged material, e.g. toner, by regulating passage of the charged material through voltage control for the control electrode provided in a through hole. SOLUTION: When a charge preventive layer 28b is formed for a control electrode 32, it is not formed directly on the control electrode 32 but formed through an electric insulation layer 28a. Consequently, each control electrode 32 does not touch the charge preventive layer 28b directly. According to the arrangement, a conductive foreign matter mixed with the toner has no effect on the control electrode 32 even if the foreign matter touches the charge preventive layer 28b and dielectric breakdown between the control electrodes 32 is prevented. Consequently, printing is performed depending on the control voltage applied to the control electrode 32 and a good recording quality can be sustained. |
