PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the scanning region of a laser beam for medical treatment, and perform a suitable medical treatment by a method wherein the information for the scanning region of the laser beam, which is indicated by a region indicating means, is stored, and a laser beam scanning means is controlled based on the stored information of the scanning region. SOLUTION: When a scanning region is made, an operator moves an alignment spot light along an external line in a manner to surround a region to be treated by operating an alignment switch, and by this movement, a scanner controller 23 stores a voltage signal which changes accompanying the movement of the spot light, in a memory 25 for each fixed count number by which the alignment switch is operated. Then, when a trigger signal is transmitted by stepping on a foot switch 8, a control unit 20 controls a laser beam source 21, and emits a laser beam for medical treatment based on the setting on a control panel 7, and casts the laser beam on the region to be treated by drivecontrolling driving motors 17a, 17b through the scanner controller 23. |
