PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a handrail following up the horizontal deformation, by providing the end rotatably connected around the perpendicular axis against the seismic isolation structure side or the external side and also providing the central part between the ends to be extensible in the extending direction of the passage. SOLUTION: A connecting corridor is laid between floor slabs 9 of a seismic isolation building 1. And a laid plate 12 constituting a passage way 10 and a passage plate 13 eliminating level differences of the passage way 10 are provided on the floor slabs 9. Both ends of the plate 12 are formed semicircular and provided with insertion holes 14. Projections 9a are inserted in the holes 14 to make the projections rotatable. When the seismic isolation building 1 is relatively displaced horizontally in an earthquake, the projections 9a and the insertion holes 14 are displaced in A-direction against the relative displacement of the A-direction and the connecting corridor follows the displacement of the A-direction. And further, handrail structures 16, 17 are formed at the side edges 10a of the passage way 10 and the ends 16a are connected to the building side handrails 18 through hinges 19 and the central part 16b between the ends 16a is made extensible. Hence, the breakage of the handrails can be prevented even at earthquakes.
|
