PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure for a cylinder head cover gasket unifying the surface pressure distribution on the faying surfaces of a cylinder head cover and a camshaft housing. SOLUTION: A valve gear is arranged in the space formed between a cylinder head 12 and a cylinder head cover 13, a camshaft 16 constituting the valve gear is held by the cylinder head 12 and a camshaft housing 19, and the cylinder head cover 13 is put on from above. A groove 23 is formed on the faying surface of the cylinder head cover 13 with the cylinder head 12 and the camshaft housing 19, and a gasket 15 is half-buried in the groove 23. The center position of the radius R1 of the groove 23 is set on the upper face of the cylinder head 12, and the center position of the radius R2 of the outer periphery of the camshaft housing 19 is set at the position offset byεto the side of the cylinder head 12 from the center position of the radius R1 of the groove 23.
