PRODUCTION OF MAGNESIUM CARBONATE DISPERSION SOLUTION AND DRINK CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce dispersion solution good in dispersibility and hardly causing precipitate by subjecting a magnesium carbonate suspension solution dissolved with a dispersant to the wet grinding treatment. SOLUTION: At first, the magnesium carbonate suspension solution dissolved with the dispersant is prepared. Water is used as a suspension medium. The order adding the dispersant and the magnesium carbonate to the water is not restricted especially, therefore the magnesium carbonate may be suspended after adding and dissolving the dispersant to the water or the dispersant may be added after dispersing the magnesium carbonate to the water. And the magnesium carbonate and the dispersant may be added simultaneously. The concn. of the magnesium carbonate is 3-40 wt.% preferably. The emulsifying agent such as sugar ester and polyglycerin fatty acid ester or the stabilizing agent such as propylene glycol alginate is preferable as the dispersant. The amt. of addition is 0.01-1.2 by wt. ratio per magnesium carbonate. The wet grinding treatment is executed till a vol. average grain size may become <=0.5 μm.
