<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and size of an air quality activating device which has adsorbents capable of adsorbing and desorbing nitrogen by smoothly executing the formation of oxygen-enriched air by the device. SOLUTION: This air quality activating device is constituted to form the oxygen-enriched air by forcibly feeding the air to the adsorbents 54 capable of adsorbing and desorbing the nitrogen. The device has two adsorption vessels 21, 22 in which the adsorbents are respectively sealed, an air pump 13 for force feeding the sucked air to the respective adsorption vessels, a 5-way valve 17 which alternately changes over the respective adsorption vessels to an adsorption stroke and a desorption stroke by changing over the flow passage of the air discharged from the air pump and puts the other adsorption vessel into the desorption stroke when either of the adsorption vessels is put into the adsorption stroke, a tank 63 which is connected to the adsorption vessel 21 via a 3-way valve 83 and is connected to the adsorption vessel 22 via a 3-way valve and 3-way piping 38 for discharging the air from the adsorption vessel of the desorption stroke.</p> |
