<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulative fastening method and structure and an insulating sheet, such that total costs including the costs of manufacture, installation, and maintenance can be kept low. SOLUTION: An insulating sheet 1 has ends 1a, 1b which are shaped to have projecting and recessed parts, respectively, so that they can mesh with each other. In order to avoid the sliding of a circular pipe P against the insulating sheet 1 after the circular pipe P is installed, the surface 1d of the insulating sheet 1 making contact with the circular pipe P is surface treated so as to be greater in friction coefficient than the opposite surface 1c. After the insulating sheet 1 is wound around the circular pipe P, the circular pipe P is fastened onto a fastening surface by a U-bolt via the insulating sheet 1.</p> |
