PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To upgrade energy efficiency with low expenses per one bookbinding in a shorter bookbinding time in a bookbinding tape. SOLUTION: A microwave bookbinding apparatus is used together with a bookbinding tape 30 having one or more formers of quick drying aqueous adhesive sealed in a capsule, and pages of a book are bookbound. An adhesive layer 33 for a back of a tape has a thickness sufficient to be impregnated to a page end of the side to be bookbound of a book. The capsule is ruptured by microwave heating, the adhesive discharged thereby is impregnated into the page end to be bookbound of the book.
