There is disclosed a silver halide light-sensitive material which contains a methine compound represented by general formula (1): General formula (1) a streptocyanine dye; L1, L2, L3, and L4 each represent a divalent linking group, and n1 represents an integer of not less than 0. The light-sensitive material exhibits high absorptivity.
