A cornice device and a valence device may be connected together vertically to provide a combination device. The cornice device has an integrally formed rac eway made from PVC which can carry electrical cables or pipes. Two cornice devices or two valence devices or two combination devices can be interconnected by means of a p lug which is received in the ends channels in two adjacent cornice devices. The chan nels are also integrally formed from PVC with the rest of the cornice. The valence device has a detachable upper plate which can be cut away when connected to a valence device. Fixed angle connector plugs are made from PVC. However, variable angle connector plugs made from aluminum can be utilized to join devices at an angle.
