PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent irradiation of external light on the back side of a glass substrate. SOLUTION: This PDP(plasma display panel) apparatus 1 is provided with a ventilation route formed by housing a PDP 3 in a panel frame 2a, installing a rear cover 2b having a ventilation hole 2c, forming a space 8 near the upper part of a printed board 5 and the PDP 3, installing an exhaust fan 4 above a chassis frame 6 in the space 8, and forming a ventilation hole 2c immediate above the fan 4. The PDP 3 and the printed board 5 at high temperature heat the ambient air and the heated air comes to the space 8 and is discharged through the ventilation hole 2c by the exhaust fan 4. On the other hand, a shielding body 7 is installed in a screw hole 3d of a metal frame 3b fixed in the chassis frame 6 and positioned at a prescribed position in the ventilation route. |
