PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user or the like able to freely set information for indicating the status of an equipment and display the set information as being significant by setting plural display graphics corresponding to plural levels of the status of the equipment and displaying the display graphics corresponding to the plural levels in the change of the state, corresponding to the change of the state of the equipment. SOLUTION: This display device 1 applicable to a communication equipment such as a portable telephone system or the like is provided with a display part 5 for displaying a character selected by a character display control part 4. The character display control part 4 receives the level of a using state from the using state level discrimination and detection part 8 of a level discrimination part 3 and selects the character as the display graphics to be displayed at the display part 5. The character display control part 4 changes the expression of the face of the character selected corresponding to the level, based on battery residual amount information and electric information to be the index of a communication area, displays it at the display part 5 and makes the change of the state discriminable at a glance. |
