PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling devices in a sub-network of a home-network which can totally control devices having various characteristics, and to provide a method therefor. SOLUTION: The control apparatus has a message processing unit 410 which transfers a registration request message from a domestic device to a master server and responds to a polling message for checking whether the domestic device is active, an information registering unit 430 which provides at least one of service information received from the domestic device present in a sub- network and updated service information to the master server, an information generation unit 440 which generates control and management information as to the domestic device present in the sub-network in a web page format on the basis of the service information, and an information providing unit 420 which provides the generated control and management information through a user base-based interface.
