PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match a helical antenna without losing quality in the frequency characteristic of a wide band being the characteristic of the helical antenna by executing connection to a reflection plate by means of the length of a specified ratio in wavelength from a progress wave-type matching power feeding point to execute exciting. SOLUTION: The helical antenna is composed of a connecting part 3 for connecting the start end of the element 2 of the helical antenna to the reflection plate 8, a matching wire 6 to be connected to a connector 15, which is arranged by a required interval with the element 2 by the length of about 1/4λand a connecting material 7 to be connected to the reflection plate 8 by connection to the matching wire 6. That is, about 1/4λlength-matching wire 6 connected to the connector 15 is arranged by the required interval from the connecting part 3 which connects the start end of the element 2 of the helical antenna to the reflection plate 8. Then, the terminating end of the matching wire 6 is connected to the reflection plate 8 with the connecting material 7 so as to attain matching.
