PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more exactly secure the security property of an information recording card by executing data processing in an information recording card with a specific cipher function which is selected by a cryptographic function selecting means according to selection data. SOLUTION: This information recording card 1 receives an ID code and data to be enciphered or decoded from an external device 9 by an inputting and outputting means 2. A reading and writing means 3 reads selector data 10a that is linked to specified key data 10c or a cryptographic function selector in a directory from data storage memory 6. A cryptographic function selecting means 5 selects a specific cryptographic function in the cryptographic function group stored in a cryptographic function storage memory based on the data 10a or the cryptographic function selector in the directory which are read by the means 3. Further, it sends a specific cryptographic function to an enciphering means 7 for encipher processing. Thus the means 7 performs encipher processing of prescribed data based on the cryptographic function.
