PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an informing system by which running of a special vehicle can be assisted more effectively, which is different from an informing system using only a siren, by transmitting at least one information among running estimated route information, the destination information, and an estimated running area information with the current position information on a special vehicle. SOLUTION: When a navigation system is started, a running estimated route of a driver's own vehicle is set by a route setting means 103, and the current position is detected by a current position detecting means 102. Next it is determined whether a receiving means 104 receives the running information of an emergency vehicle or not, and in the case where the emergency vehicle information is received, the emergency vehicle information receiving processing is conducted, and in the case where it is not received, the current position of the driver's own vehicle and the running estimated route are displayed on a map of the periphery of the current position of the driver's own vehicle. Hereinafter according to the current position updating decision, the processing of the current position detection, the emergency vehicle information receiving and the display of a map of the periphery of the current position are repeatedly conducted. |
