<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lay a cable, while the cable can be conveniently and surely protected from the action of excessive tension or an abnormal external force, such as deforming force, etc. SOLUTION: In a method for laying a cable, an AC motor in which a vector control type inverter is incorporated in an electric circuit as the driving source of a hauling machine 3 successively provided from roller devices 1 and 4. The speed of the motor is automatically adjusted in a accordance with the load applied to the machine 3 by the action of the inverter, in such a way that the speed is decreased when the load becomes larger and increased, when the load becomes larger. Consequently, a balanced speed relation is established between the roller devices 1 and machine 3. Consequently, a cable 5 transferred by means of the roller devices 1 and machine 3 can be laid in a stable state, without receiving excessive tensions, deforming forces, etc.</p> |
