<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set the current time of a portable information communication processor to the current time of a host just by connecting the communication processor to the host without performing a manual time setting operation, to eliminate the waste of time due to the manual time setting operation and also to improve the operability of the communication processor. SOLUTION: The data held by a built-in clock of a portable information communication processor 102 are automatically updated based on the current time data received via a data receiving part 103 when the processor 102 is connected to a communication network. Thus, the error can be corrected between the current time information on a host 10 and the current time information on the processor 102. As a result, a user has not to perform a manual time setting operation. In such a constitution, the operability of the processor 102 is improved and also the reliability is improved for the management of data on a time base. Furthermore, the correction of time can be notified to the user in various ways.</p> |
