PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission system in which various information can be provided by using an IC card and extending the use of the IC card. SOLUTION: An information transmission system 100 is provided with a ticket 1 in the configuration of an IC card, and an automatic ticket examining machine 2 for checking passage through a gate 19 by using the ticket 1 without touching the ticket 1. The automatic ticket examining machine 2 includes a transmitting part 4 which transmits additional information except the passage check information necessary for checking the passage through the gate 19 to the ticket 1. The ticket 1 includes a memory 11 which stores the additional information transmitted from the automatic ticket examining machine 2. The additional information stored in the memory 11 of the ticket 1 is displayed on a display device 3. |
