All of the exterior components form a shield to protect the parts and segments beneath them. Drains for water are specially provided in the outer regions of the components. Most of the water is drained away to one position jutting out from the sides and front of the furniture. Preferably a weather-resistant cover board (1) in the top of the furniture with edges made of plastics or laminated wood is used. Drip channels run along the underside of these edge sections.
