Demodulation method for angle modulated carrier signal

The demodulation method involves splitting the received carrier signal into phase and quadrature components. The components are evaluated for detecting the bits of the digital information signal used for angle modulation of the carrier signal. During a first section of the bit duration the phase and quadrature components are fed along respective signal paths (19,20). The signal components are fed to the opposite signal paths during a second section of the bit duration.
