This invention relates to a support for carboxylic acid components of animal feeds said support comprising beet pulp. Beet pulp, unlike conventional supports such as silica, perlite, vermiculite etc, is readily digestible by the animal. Beet pulp is a a nutritionally beneficial and absorbent support which is not only naturally occurring but is also part of conventional animal feeds.
