FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine has strip unwinding mechanism with unwinding roller, strip feeding mechanism, strip cutting into plates and plate charging mechanisms, device for assembling plates with tubes and tube cassette. Strip unwinding mechanism has pressure roller installed on rocking lever and strip back tension device with roller-weight and spring-loaded lever. The latter engages with roller-weight and is connected through tie-rod with rocking lever. Tie-rod is hinge-connected with levers to provide release of unwinding and pressure rollers. Effort built by roller-weight exceeds effort required for release of unwinding and pressure rollers. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation of proposed automated machine. 3 dwg
