PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject feed capable of promoting the development of the gizzard of domestic fowls and improve the growth thereof by formulating ceramics having the hardness raised to an ultrahigh value and consisting essentially of alumina with a usual formula feed for the domestic fowls. SOLUTION: This feed is obtained by formulating ceramics having >=99% purity or alumina and at least 70 kg hardness with a usual formula feed for domestic fowls such as a chicken, a duck or a quail. At this time, the ceramics in an amount of 0.1-1 wt.% based on the feed are preferably added thereto. |
