PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed stop block capable of effectively preventing propagation of the weed by making use of the solar energy or the electric heat, and a weed stop structure of the block. SOLUTION: A weed stop apron block 10 is installed can a boundary line of a sidewalk. A stepped part 113 is provided on an upper end side 111 on the sidewalk side of the weed stop apron block 10. A member of high thermal conductivity, i.e., a steel plate 20 is mounted within the stepped part 113. The steel plate 20 is a flat member over the whole length in the longitudinal direction of the stepped part 113. A heating wire may be installed in the stepped part 113. |
